I've just (literally, 2 days ago), transplanted to San Francisco, CA, USA.

It's been a wild month of whirlwind transitions. Back at the end of July it started like this:

Japan to Thailand, Thailand to Japan
Japan to Colorado, USA
Colorado to Wichita, KS, and back
Colorado to San Francisco, CA, and back
2 trips between C.Springs and Boulder, CO

And finally, a one way ride to San Fran, my new city.

Here I am, openhearted and brave, pursuing dance, art, and life.

I am currently posting my best photos from this year's sakura season in the Kansai region in Japan. The photos are from the Kyoto area, Hiroshima and Miyajima.

As quickly as it began, it has passed. The photos barely do the beauty justice...

So I recently realized that while I've taken a ton of photos during my time here in Japan, almost none of them are online! The new uploads are an attempt to rectify the situation. I think they are some of the best from the past 7 months.

I have been living in the city of Kameoka in the prefecture of Kyoto in the country of Japan for two months now. It is shocking how fast you can settle into and adapt to a place. I enjoy my work and am studying Japanese. I am looking for dance opportunities and want to draw on a more daily basis. I'm even thinking of attempting my first graphic novel thingy.

So yeah, I'm still around. Hi there. ^_~

I did indeed manage to graduate college and after a lot of costume work to start off the summer, I am on vacation before moving to Japan.

That's right! I got accepted into the JET Programme and am bound for Kameoka, Kyoto, Japan to teach English at a local high school for the next year... or more!

I now have some time to hopefully update this site as it desperately needs it!

Unfortunately, my parents might be holding on to my scanner for a bit, which means no new drawings... I am not pleased. Hmmm...
